On Thursday March 10th, HackensackUMC will host the second annual Basketball Fever Tournament. This tournament features teams of employees from throughout the medical center squaring off on the court for the title of Basketball Fever Champions. This event will raise funds for the HackensackUMC Auxiliary’s pledge to donate $2 million to the new medical school.
Last year, 500 spectators raised $10,000 to watch four teams battle it out in a one-night tournament. This year, 13 teams participated throughout multiple nights. Join us with the final four teams at the Championship night.
The tournament, which will be held in the Hackensack High School Gymnasium is open to the public. There is a $10 donation, which included entrance to the event and participation in the memorabilia raffle. Additional raffle tickets will also be sold.
All proceeds will benefit the HackensackUMC Foundation Auxiliary as part of the Employee Branch’s contribution to the new school of medicine.
